I've had MANY lights over the past decade or so - most of the lights I currently own are NiteRider. When I saw this light at this price I figured it had to be "too good to be true". But, folks had written several good reviews so I gave it a go. To get the free shipping I bought an extra battery. So far I have been completely satisfied with the purchase. The battery is so small that I love having a spare. I just throw it in my pack or jersey pocket "just in case". The jury is still out on the durability. But so far, so good.

Light performs well and quality is better than expected. The wide beam lens throws out the beam out. There are many more expensive lights that are not as bright.

A great light for the money. It is a simple light and is easy to install. Plenty bright for cycling, caving and snowshoeing/boarding. I will definitely be getting another when this one wears out.
The wiring is a little flimsy for Pacific Northwest Mountain Biking but most products tend to put to the test up here.

This light is stupid bright for real. I ride mountain bikes every Tuesday night and this light has not let me down. It is just as bright as my friends light which cost him $150 with a less lumen rating. I would recommend two of these lights one for the bars and one on your helmet. Great product and even better price.

I purchased this light along with some other mtb related things on what to have mtb list. In short, very bright light the only thing is that there is a flat horizontal bright spot in the beam. I first tried it out in the house when I first noticed it, I tried it out just last night and still the same just not as noticeable outside in the darkness. Don't know if that's normal, but plenty bright. Will definitely purchase more. Note...I am new to the MTB world

Living in Bellingham Washington is a pleasure for any cycling enthusiast (mountain or road). We have world class riding right out the front door. Thus making riding your bike all year an absolute must and proper illumination a necessity.
I bought a cree light after seeing an ad on CL and have been very pleased with its performance. It is a contender with all my riding partners lights at a fraction of the cost.I often have riders shadowing me riding off my light.
The average burn time for me at full power is just under an hour and half before battery depletion. I have yet to draw all the charge on the lower setting in a single ride. For me it is best used on the lower setting at normal pace and then I switch to the high setting for high speed technical riding.
I have been using the light twice a week for about 2-3hrs a ride rain or shine. It is an excellent light for just about any occasion. I even took it snowshoeing!
Only draw back I have found is that the wiring is a bit on the small/lighter side to endure the harsh conditions of mtn biking in the PNW.
Put it on your bar or use it as a headlamp either way it is worth every penny. I plan on getting a new one when I eventually crash this one out.
good light at a great price.

I bought the Cree xm-l T6 900 for a snow bike race at Leadville Colorado. The race started at 7pm so I needed a bright light. The Cree performed better than I hoped. Several times I thought another rider was behind be because the light was so bright. This is one of the best purchases I've made when it comes to biking.

Don't let the low price of this bike light fool you into thinking its just another cheesy piece of bike equipment. This truly is a high quality bike accessory built with top of the line components. Incredibly bright for its small size. The included wide angle lens accessory really opens up the road and bike paths while cycling at night.

I've used this light several times for both commuting and nite rides. The light is much brighter than the halogen's I purchased for 3x the price. The only drawback is the mounting system. The light tends to shift due to being secured by what looks like an extra thick rubber band. The light itself is a great buy, shine bright and recharges quickly.

I commute daily in Portland. Part of my commute takes me along the Springwater Corridor which has zero lighting. I needed something bright and was hesitant about StupidBright, because it was inexpensive compared to its competitors. However, the light is as good (bright) as any light out there. I am super happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone. The only thing that would be nicer about this light is if there was an easier on/off attachment. I have to take the light and battery off every morning so no one steals it during the day.
